Cement silo is a commonly used equipment. It is usually used to store dry powder material like cement, fly ash, ore powder etc. Sometimes, it can also be used to store dry sand, dry grain etc.

Generally, cement silo has the following categorizations:

1. Bolted type cement silo and welding type cement silo;

2. Vertical cement silo and horizontal cement silo;

3. Stationary cement silo and mobile cement silo.

1. Bolted type cement silo and welding type cement silo.

1) Bolted type cement silo is in pieces. After it is sent to the work site, we need to use bolt and nuts to connect all the pieces together. So there will be much labour work needed to install it.

2) Welding type cement silo is completed. After it is sent to the work site, we just need to erect it. There is no need much labour work.

3) Difference between bolted type and welding type cmenet silo: Welding type cement silo is easy to install but inconvenient for transportation; While bolted type cement silo is convenient for transportation but time-consuming for installation.

2. vertical cemnet silo and horizontal cement silo.

1) Vertical cement silo is traditional old type cement silo. Usually, the height of a vertical cement silo is around 20 meters. we need to make a big reinforced concrete foundation for it.

2) Horizontal cement silo is a new product which avoids the inconvinence of vertical cement silo. The height of horizontal cement silo is usually within 3 meters. And we don't need to make a big reinforced concrete foundation for it. So it is more convenient and popular than vertical cement silo.

3. stationary cemnet silo and mobile cement silo.

1) stationary cement silo. usually, a stationary cement silo has a concrete foundation. If we move it to another work site, we need to make a concrete foundation again.

2) mobile cement silo. usually, mobile cement silo has wheels and it can be easily moved from one work site to another.
